TEGATECH LAUNCHES WEB 2.0 WEBSITE: When it came to designing and implimenting a new website Tegatech Australia employed the services of a full-time Graphic Designer and utilised in-house software development strengths to complete the task. With so many possible features available Tegatech narrowed down the top 6 necessary features as follows:

• - Built-in PC configurator
• - Built-in RMA submission and tracking
• - Web 2.0 integration

Ultimately Tegatech chose to script its own frontend and utilised the Interspire Shopping Cart as perferred backend solution. Company Principal, Hugo Ortega, was pleased with the results and stated: "this has been a big task for our company but the results speak for themselves. We have had the website in BETA with a small group of resellers for several months and the feedback is very promising." Another key driver for the redevelopment of the site was the need to include Web 2.0 features such as live Twitter Wall (i.e. Tablet PC related Twitter feeds streaming to the site live), Facebook, LinkedIN, RSS feeds (for pricelists and News) and much more.
